About Emma

Emma Jackson
Personal & Professional Life Coach
I trained as a professional life coach with The Coaching Academy, Europe’s leading life coach training provider. I feel privileged to work closely with people like you who are committed to achieving their goals and dreams. In return I am committed to offering you the highest level of life coaching and giving you an experience that is in accordance with the standards and ethics of the life coaching profession. I am a member of the Association for Coaches and I abide by their code of ethics and best practice.
In my earlier career I developed my managerial skills within the hospitality, leisure and catering sectors where I uncovered my passion for developing people allowing them to achieve their goals and ambitions. I moved into Human Resources to specialise in recruitment, and then as an HR Manager, in the retail sector.
I knew for some time that I wanted to do something different with my life, and I feel proud to have taken the leap and to be living my life more fully. I love to work with people who, like you, are committed to themselves and have a desire to discover and fulfil their dreams. It is truly amazing to see that potential being unleashed.
I have to say it took me a long time to take those first steps and get started on my journey to a more fulfilled and congruent life. I found many reasons to delay taking action, preferring to maintain the status quo rather than address the fears that I encountered. A glimmer of belief and a plan later, and I’m living my dream and moving closer to my life goals every day.
As I mentioned, I trained as a life coach with The Coaching Academy, Europe’s leading life coach training provider. I am a member of the Association for Coaching, and also a qualified MBTI practitioner – www.myersbriggs.org
Aside from my life coaching practice, I live with my partner and our two year old son, Aaron, in Surrey. I have a great love for learning new things, discovering new places and an ongoing quest to keep fit! I feel blessed to have a number of gorgeous people in my life and to have found a path to follow that allows me to be true to myself.
The principles that my personal life coaching is based on are:
- An absolute belief in a person’s capacity to take control of their life and be true to themselves
- A partnership between client and coach that is based on openness, honesty, trust and respect
- A commitment by the coach to be encouraging and supportive to the client whilst still holding them accountable
- A commitment by the client to take responsibility for themselves and their desired changes and to work through challenging issues with courage
- A positive and pro active approach by both client and coach
